A TENNIS WAY OF LIFE

The growth of my students is my passion.  Having experienced tennis as a player, parent and coach, I feel strongly about what it means to have a "great tennis experience".   To put it simply, there are 3 main buckets:  technical, mental and having lots of pure fun! Basic technical skills include learning the proper forehand, backhand, volleys, first and second serve. More advanced technical skills include learning about the concepts of consistency, accuracy and power.   When students are ready, I love helping students transition from learning the fundamentals through drills to transitioning to competitive match play, which is another phase of a student's tennis development.

MEET COACH JASON

My tennis journey started when I was 10 years old.   Through tennis, I have met friends around the world, whether it is in Spain, the UK, France, Thailand or Taiwan.

Currently,  I am the assistant tennis coach at Menlo Atherton High School. I am passionate about sharing my love for the sport of tennis with both students, seniors and anyone who considers themselves in between.

I graduated with honors from Williams College with a major in Economics.  In my non-tennis hours, I am strategic partnerships leader in Silicon Valley, based out of Menlo Park, CA.
