Age 13

MAYA R.

Maya R. started tennis lessons with Coach Jason at age 11 has been with Coach J for the last 4 years.  She says she has been "amazed by her personal growth", transforming from casual player to competitive junior, playing 5 times a week.  In addition to her school team, she also plays on a competitive Northern California USTA tennis team with Norcal Academy.

Age 11

VINCENT V.

Vincent V. started tennis with Coach J at age 10 and says: "Coach Jason was my first tennis coach and Tennis is now my favorite sport!"  Vincent and his father recently came back from Spain, having competed in the Ten-pro junior tournament for top juniors in the U14 division.  After only 3+ years, Vincent is now a top ranked U12 junior in Norcal USTA section.

ESHAAN C.

Eshaan started tennis lessons 4 years ago with Coach Jason. His father says, "Eshaan's love of tennis has been inspired through Coach Jason love of teaching tennis.   We get so many tennis tips for our kids.   We love it so much that we've taken the entire family to Nadal Academy.  Even my wife who doesn't play herself really sees the benefits..."

AUSTIN C.

Austin Chow started tennis at age 9 and says: "I love tennis because I meet lots of friends and get to go to cool places, like Saddlebrook and Weil Academy.  Austin also enjoys tennis so much that he has started teaching tennis to 7 and 8 year olds himself.

Age Unimportant

DARREN J. 

After not having played tennis in many years, Darren J. was looking to get re-acquainted with tennis, have fun and impress a date, if possible.   Coach Jason worked on Darren's forehand grip and mechanics, using the a teaching technique called progression, where we slowly build confidence in phases.

Age = Moms Don't Tell 

MAYA D.

Maya D. has both 3 young children and never has time for herself.  However after her own big birthday,  Maya decided to treat herself to an hour of tennis.  Coach Jason encouraged her to be in the moment and have fun, working on hitting forehands, backhands and serves.

JULIA Y.

Julia Y. has both 2 boys that play tennis, but uncovered that she is the real tennis star of her family.  She originally picked it up to understand the game, but now finds it more fun to whoop her sons' butts.   Julia transformed from once a casual player to a serious student of tennis.
